What a great summer we head. Outdoor restaurants and cafes got their share of customers. But it’s not too late to enjoy a cool drink or a delicious dinner at one of your favorite waterfront restaurants. As the summer is coming to an end the big events are just beginning such as the Oktoberfest. There are some Oktoberfest events in September as well as in October. Martha Clara Vineyard starts there Oktoberfest early September 7 and the Black Forest Brew House is following September 21. We’ll keep you posted of more events on Long Island. Sag Harbor’s Harborfest

Friday September 28, will be the beginning of the Sag Harbor American Music Festival. The event starts at 8pm. Tickets are $ 20.00 and can be purchased at sagharbaormusic.org. Free performances can be heard Saturday from 11am – 9pm. This is a great time to get to know your the local restaurants in sag harbor.

Enjoy this event with your whole family which is held in North Hempstead Beach Park. Admission is free, however there is a parking fee of $ 3.00. The event starts Wednesday September 7 until Sunday September 11. There will be live entertainment, rides, games, food and craft vendors. The Firework will start at Sunday at 9:30pm
Third Annual East End Green Fest

8th Annual Fall Harvest & Seafood Festival at Captree State Park

Bring the entire family and enjoy Long Island harvest foods as well as seafood dishes. The festival starts Saturday September 17, from 11 till 5pm and Sunday September 18, from 11 till 5pm. There are lots of activities for children and of course live entertainment.
